How to use our app

Updated by Mária Magyar

In order to use our app, you have to register first. For more details about how to register, please go  here.

If you registered already and downloaded the application, you can start the app on your phone and log in.

Log in screen:

You have to write your email address into the first field (1) and your password to the second field (2) and then press the "Log in" button (3).

The email address is the one where you got your invitation. If you have multiple email addresses and you check them in the same inbox, you have to check the details of the email to see which email address it was sent to exactly.

The password is the one you set up through the registration process. For more details about how to register, please go  here.

If you forgot your password, you can click on the "Forgotten password?" (4) and follow the steps on the screen. If you need more help with this please go  here.

When you logged in, you will see a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Here you can navigate within the app. If you are interested in one of the screens in particular, you can choose it here. Otherwise you can just read along to get all the explanations.

The Sparks screen:

You get your daily spark here from your coach. A "Spark" is one lesson. The black bubbles (1) allow you to react or answer to the coach's questions. Press one of the choices, that appeals to you most. Based on these answers you will get different responses and can thus choose your own learning journey.

When you see a little blue arrow " > " on the right side of the white bubble (2), it means you can click on it and you will see some content. Content can be a link that gives you more information about the subject from an outside source (in these cases the app will open up the link in your browser on your phone), or some reading/exercise/video/etc. within the application (3). You can leave the content view by clicking on the "x" in the right top corner (4).

The Topics screen:

Here you will see under "My Topics" (1) all the topics you are currently doing and/or the ones you have already finished. If you want to leave a Topic, you can press the "Edit" (2) button on the top right corner and then press "Leave" (3) on the Topic you are not interested in anymore. When you are finished with the editing, press "Done" (4).

If you scroll down, you will see other Topics that are available for you under "More Topics" (5). (You might not see anything here, if you don't have any other Topics available for you at the moment. Which means you probably already subscribed to a lot of them, so congrats.)

You can press the blue "Attend" (6) button if you want to join a Topic.

If you would like to restart a Topic, because you missed a spark or two you can "Leave" it and then resubscribe to it under "More Topics" with the "Attend" button. You can do this under the "Topics Detail" as well.

If you touch one of the Topics, it will take you to the detail of that Topic.

Topics Detail:

If you are checking detail for a Topic what was under "More Topics", you will see the following:

You can press "Attend" (1) if you would like to join. Above the "Attend" button you can see how many sparks (2) and content (3) the Topic has. Below you can see the contents (4) of that Topic. You can press one of them and read it if you would like, to get a feeling of the topic.

You can get back to the Topics screen by pressing the "< Topics" button on the left top corner (5).

If you touched a Topic you are already attending on, you will see a slightly different screen:

The orange line (1) shows what percentage you have completed in that Topic. Below you can see all the content pieces (2) that are connected to the Topic, in case you want to re-read one of them. You can get back to the Topics screen by pressing the "< Topics" button on the left top corner (3).

If you scroll down to the bottom of the screen, you will see a button "Leave this topic" (4), in case you would like to do that.

The Takeaway screen:

Here you can make notes for yourself. No one else will see those, but you. You can create new notes by tapping on the "Make a note" (1) text, and you can delete one of the notes by touching the bin (2) at the end of the line. If you tap on one of the notes you already made, you can edit them, or just read again what you wrote earlier.

When you are editing a note, you can save it on the right top corner (3) and you can cancel and go back without change to the list view in the left top corner(4).

The Settings screen:

Here you can logout (1), modify your account (2), set your spark settings (3), get help (4) and read more information about us (5).

If you press the "Contact us:" line in the Support section (4), it will take you to your email application and you will see our email address already written into the email form.

The "Help Documentation" button will get you here, but you probably know that already. :)

Change your account settings:

You are able to change your email address, name, or password any time you want, you just have to tap on the one you would like to modify.

Change your email:

Here you just type your new email address in the field (1) and press "Save" (2). You can go back to the Settings screen by pressing the "< Back" (3) button in the top left corner.

Change your name:

You simply type into the fields (1) what you would like and then "Save" (2) it. The Coach will use what you type into the First name field. You can go back to the Settings screen by pressing the "< Back" (3) button in the top left corner.

Change your password:

Here you have to add your current password first (1) and then twice the new password you want to use (2) and then "Change password" (3) it. You can go back to the Settings screen by pressing the " < Back" (4) button in the top left corner.

If you forgot your password, you can log out in the settings and go through the password reset process.  You can get some help with this here.

Change your spark settings:

Here you can choose at what time you would like to get the notifications and you can change the speed of the messages on the spark screen.

Change notification time:

You can pick full hours and half hours. When you are satisfied with the chosen time, press the OK button. The daily notification will from now on appear at the chosen time. If you pressed the notification setting accidentally, you could go back with pressing the Cancel button.

Change the coach speed:

Here you are able to set how fast or slow you would like to get the messages on the sparks screen, with setting the slider (1) to the desired position and then pressing the "Save" (2) button. You can go back to the Settings screen by pressing the "< Back" (3) button in the top left corner.
