Sparks are designed to fit into everyday's life, even when you are on vacation. A Spark usually doesn't take longer than 7 minutes, please make sure to set up a time for the notification that works best for you. You can learn more about setting up the custom time for notifications here.
If you have opened the app, then the spark will be available for the rest of the day - after midnight the next one will start. If this happens, don't get upset - just follow the next impulse.
