Where do I find free images?

Updated by Mária Magyar

Are you looking for free images and photos that you can download and use for your content? There are two websites which we can recommend and the good thing is, you don’t have to register to use those websites:

Unsplash

Enter a word in the search toolbar that describes best what kind of image you are looking for, press enter and a list with images will show up:

If you have found an image you like, click on it and the following window will open. Now you can download the image by clicking on “Download free”.

Next to the “Download free”  button is a dropdown bar which allows you to select the size. After you have selected the size you need, click on “Download free”.

Please make sure that you download the images in the suitable size for the Intao App. The best format for all these images is 2:1 (1000 x 500 pixels). If the image isn’t 2:1, you can crop it in the Admin Panel. A resolution of 72 dpi is enough. Make sure that the image file is not bigger than 4 MB. The “Original Size” in Unsplash is too big for the Intao APP, the best options for downloading images on Usplash is “Medium” and “Large”.

For more information on how to format the images and which sizes are suitable for the Intao App, please click the following link:

If the download does not work or is blocked, please check your browser settings and allow Unsplash to download the image.
